InterDigital Files Form 10-K; Statement of Operations Unchanged From Preliminary Results
KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Mar 31, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- InterDigital Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:IDCC), a leading architect, designer and provider of wireless technology and product platforms, today announced that it has filed its Form 10-K, including required audited financial statements, for the year ended December 31, 2004. The Company had previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to obtain an automatic extension to file its Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2004 while it responded to comments by the SEC staff associated with a periodic review of the Company's Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2003 and Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2004.
The Company indicated that the statement of operations included in the Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2004 was unchanged from the statement of operations released on March 10, 2005. In the balance sheet, foreign withholding tax related assets, previously classified as deferred charges, have been reclassified to deferred tax assets for all periods presented. The Company reported as required by Section 404 of The Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, on its internal controls over financial reporting, indicating that no material weaknesses were present.
